Sail the Greek islands

View of a lush green coastal area with a small bay, rocky cliffs, and a calm turquoise sea under a blue sky with a few clouds.

Our Greek sailing trips begin in Corfu, where green hills roll down to clear blue water and island life moves at an easy pace. From here, you’ll sail north along the Ionian coast, hopping between small islands, quiet anchorages and welcoming harbours that are perfectly spaced for relaxed days on the water.

Mornings are unhurried, often starting with a swim before a short sail to the next stop. Afternoons are spent exploring ashore, finding a quiet beach or settling into a shaded taverna by the sea. Evenings are warm and social, with simple food, good wine and the gentle rhythm of island life.

With calm seas, predictable conditions and short distances between islands, this route is ideal for a laid-back week that balances sailing, swimming and time ashore without ever feeling rushed.

Itinerary

  • Tucked beneath green hills and lined with olive trees, Agni Bay feels quietly removed from the world. The water is clear and inviting, perfect for an easy swim straight from the boat. Come evening, you’ll head ashore to a traditional waterside taverna, known for simple, beautifully prepared Greek food and a warm, unpretentious atmosphere.

  • Sivota is a scattering of small islands and sheltered coves along the mainland coast. The sailing here is gentle, with short passages and plenty of time to swim, float, and relax. The landscape feels lush and calm, offering a balance of quiet anchorages and low-key places to step ashore as the sun sets

  • Uninhabited and strikingly beautiful, Anti Paxos is all about the water. Shallow, turquoise bays meet pale limestone shores, creating some of the clearest swimming in the Ionian. This is a slow, sun-filled stop, ideal for a long lunch, snorkelling, and simply enjoying the sense of being completely surrounded by sea.

  • Gaios is the main harbour of Paxos, a small town shaped by Venetian influence and island life. Colourful buildings line the waterfront, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet lively in the evenings. You’ll moor close to town, making it easy to wander ashore for dinner, a stroll along the harbour, or a quiet drink by the water.

  • Set beneath a hilltop castle, Parga is one of the most picturesque stops of the trip. Bright houses rise above the harbour, and narrow streets lead up toward sweeping coastal views. There’s time to explore, swim near the beach, and enjoy the more vibrant energy of the town before settling in for the evening.

  • Lakka offers a gentle close to the week. Its natural, horseshoe-shaped bay is calm and protected, with shallow, clear water ideal for a final swim. The pace here is slower and more peaceful, giving you time to reflect, relax, and enjoy one last quiet evening before returning to Corfu.

  • The sail back to Corfu is an easy final leg, with time for a last lunch on deck as you arrive. Disembarkation follows soon after, allowing you to step ashore smoothly and continue your onward plans, carrying the rhythm of the week with you.
